The office is located at Door No 31 in the LIG Flats of Sector 18B, Dwarka. It is not your typical high-rise corporate building, which actually makes it feel a bit more like home for those of us working here. Being in New Delhi, the air is often thick and the streets are crowded, but once you get inside the flat, it is relatively quiet. We handle the Ericsson India Pvt Ltd operations from this spot. It is mostly a lot of paperwork and technical coordination. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights outside. It is just a regular place in a residential sector. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy equipment up can be a real pain sometimes. Most of the staff takes the metro because parking around Sector 18B is a nightmare if you arrive after nine. We usually bring our own lunch boxes and eat together in the small area we cleared out near the window. You can see the neighborhood kids playing outside in the evenings. It is a practical space for what we do. We don’t really go in for those modern office perks you hear about. We just have our desks, some chairs, and enough tea to keep us going through the afternoon. It is an honest day’s work in a normal part of Delhi. We have been here long enough that the local chai wallah knows exactly how we like our tea.
