Equal Plastics

Equal Plastics is located at Shakurpur 64. If you come looking for us, you will find a place that is more about work than about looks. We have stacks of plastic goods piled up nearly to the roof, leaving just enough room for us to move around and get things organized. It is a very industrial part of Shakurpur, so there is always the sound of hammers or engines somewhere in the background. We spend a lot of our day moving boxes and checking that everything is where it should be. The walls are a bit dusty and the light isn't the brightest, but it is where we do our business. At number 64, we don't really have a showroom. It is more of a warehouse feel where people come specifically because they know we have what they are looking for. We work long hours, starting before the sun gets too high and staying until the evening chill sets in. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of Shakurpur and we have to go out and help them navigate. It’s a lot of physical labor, and our clothes usually end up a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be anything other than what we are, a local spot in the neighborhood where plastic items are stored and moved out to wherever they need to go next.
