Environs

We are located in Lado Sarai, specifically in Mirza Wali Gali, which is right near Mehrauli in New Delhi. It’s one of those old-style streets where everyone kind of knows each other and says hello. Our office, F 619, is a modest space. We’ve been working from here for quite some time now. Dealing with Environs means we are always looking at the spaces around us and how they are changing. Delhi is a tough city for the environment, so there is never a shortage of things to do. The office itself is a bit cramped with all the maps and documents we have piled up on every available surface. We don't bother with fancy furniture or a big reception area. It’s mostly just us working at our desks and trying to figure things out. Sometimes the power goes out in the Gali, and we just wait it out or talk about the projects we have going on. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of money to spend. We are just a local team doing our bit in this part of the city. Being near Mehrauli gives the area a lot of character and history, which we appreciate. People find us by word of mouth mostly, or through old contacts. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just show up every morning, open the door, and get to work on whatever environmental task is on the list for that day. It's a simple, busy life.
