We are located on the second floor of B 189 190 in New Delhi. Getting up the stairs every day is a good way to start the morning, though we are usually out of breath by the time we reach the door. The office is a decent size for a consulting firm, providing enough room for our desks and a small corner where we keep the kettle. This part of the city is always moving, and you can hear the sounds of the street even from the second floor. We have lived with the hum of traffic and the occasional shouting of vendors for years now. It is just part of the atmosphere. The office isn't designed by any professional; we just moved the desks around until they fit. We have a lot of old files and books related to energy that take up a lot of space on the shelves. The lighting isn't the best, so we rely on some extra lamps when it gets dark early in the winter. Most of our day is spent looking at data or talking on the phone with clients. We don't have any formal meetings with agendas and presentations. We just talk things over while we work. The neighborhood has plenty of tea stalls, and we are regulars at the one right on the corner. It is a very basic, honest way to run a business. We are just here doing our thing in this corner of Delhi without any big fanfare or fancy branding.
