Emind

Our workspace is at Bc 48 in West Shalimar Bagh, which is a fairly quiet residential part of North Delhi. We go by the name Emind, and we’ve been operating out of this neighborhood for some time now. Being in a residential block means the atmosphere is a bit different than a typical office district. It’s more relaxed, and you get to know the people living around you. We spend our days working through different projects, mostly focusing on things that require a lot of sitting and thinking. Our office is pretty modest, just a few rooms where we’ve set up our computers and some basic furniture. There’s no big sign outside or a receptionist to greet you; it’s just us doing our thing. The streets in Shalimar Bagh are always filled with people going about their business, and we’re just one small part of that. We like the fact that it doesn't feel like a cold, corporate environment. Sometimes we work late into the evening, and the neighborhood gets nice and quiet then. We don't use any fancy systems or have a complicated hierarchy. It’s just a straightforward approach where everyone knows what they need to do and gets on with it. We handle our daily tasks, talk to our clients on the phone, and try to keep things as organized as possible. It’s a simple way of working that seems to fit this part of Delhi quite well for us.
