Elite Traders

We are located in Chawri Bazar at Gori Shankar Market, Kundewalan Street 756/6. This part of Delhi is very old and the streets are quite narrow, so getting goods in and out of Elite Traders is always a bit of a challenge. We trade in various items, and our shop is tucked away among many others. The building is old, with high ceilings and walls that have been painted many times over the years. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to people who walk in from the street. It’s very crowded, and you can hear the rickshaw bells and the porters shouting all day long. We have a small wooden desk where we keep our ledgers and a couple of stools for visitors. It’s a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, but we have a couple of tube lights that do the trick. We’ve been in this market for a long time and have seen many businesses come and go. Trading here requires a lot of patience because of the congestion and the way things move slowly. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything, we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at this address for years. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and it suits the atmosphere of Chawri Bazar. We just focus on getting our orders right and keeping things moving as best as we can.
