Our office is located at 404 in Nehru Place, which everyone knows is the heart of the electronics and IT world here. Elettromeccanica India Pvt Ltd is a bit of a mouthful, but we’ve been working out of this building for some time now. We deal with electrical and mechanical components, the kind of stuff that goes into bigger machines and systems. It’s not a retail shop where people walk in off the street to buy a phone; it’s more about business-to-business stuff. The office is usually filled with papers, technical drawings, and sometimes samples of parts we are working with. Nehru Place is always a bit chaotic with people running around and the food stalls downstairs, but once you get up to the fourth floor, it’s a bit more focused. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller team just trying to handle our orders and keep our clients happy. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days we’re just catching up on paperwork. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the technical work, answer the emails, and head home. Dealing with engineering parts means you have to be careful with the details, so that’s where most of our energy goes. It’s a steady pace, and we’ve become a regular fixture in this part of town. The elevators here are always busy, so we usually just wait our turn or take the stairs if we're in a hurry.
