Durga Plastics

Working out here in Bawana Industrial Area is quite different from the main city. Our place, Durga Plastics, is in Sector 1 at O-58/59. It’s a big area with lots of factories and trucks moving in and out all day long. The noise of the machinery is something you just get used to after a week or two. We deal with a lot of plastic goods and the raw materials that go into making them. Inside the unit, it’s usually quite warm because of the machines running, and there is always that specific smell of melting plastic in the air. We have stacks of crates and bags piled up against the walls in O-58. My clothes usually end up covered in some kind of dust by the time I head home. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. There is just a small desk where we keep the ledgers and handle the paperwork for the deliveries. Most of our days are spent checking the machines or talking to the drivers who come to pick up the orders. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when we have a big load to get out by the weekend. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. Bawana is a busy place, and we are just one part of the whole industrial setup here.
