Durga Documentation Centre

You can find us in Somdutt Chambers II, down at the U G 23 level in Bhikaji Cama Place. It is one of those busy buildings where there's always someone rushing around with a folder. Our little centre is mostly filled with printers, scanners, and stacks of paper waiting to be processed. We spend a lot of time helping people with their forms, making copies, or getting documents sorted for whatever official thing they are doing. It’s often quite noisy with the sound of the machines running constantly. We’ve been in this same spot for a while, so we know most of the other people working in the building. It’s not a very big space, but we have managed to fit everything we need into the shop. Sometimes the lines get a bit long, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get things done before their meetings. We just keep our heads down and keep the paper moving. It's practical work, nothing too complicated, but it's important for the people who come in needing things done quickly. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. Mostly, it is just about making sure the copies are clear and the documents are handled right. It's a steady life here in the basement level, and we've gotten used to the artificial lights and the hum of the city above us.
