Divya Shakti Centre

We are over at Prem Nagar, 13 3 A. It’s a small place, but it fits what we do here at Divya Shakti Centre. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into the lane. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the locals all know where we are. Inside, there are some mats on the floor and a few chairs for when people just want to sit and talk for a bit. The air gets a bit still in the summer, so we keep the windows open as much as we can, even if the dust comes in. It’s not a shiny new building with glass walls, it’s just a regular part of the neighborhood. We spend our days preparing the space and welcoming whoever walks through the door. Usually, it’s quiet, which is how we like it. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t spend much on decorations or fancy signs. A simple board outside tells people they’ve found the right spot. Most of our furniture was brought in by friends or family over the years. We keep a stash of water bottles in the corner for anyone who gets thirsty. It feels like a real part of Prem Nagar, not something dropped in from somewhere else. We just take it day by day, making sure the place is clean and ready for whoever needs to be here. There is no corporate structure here, just a few people keeping the center open.
