Devendra Kumar

You can find me over at Patiala House Courts most days of the week. Being Devendra Kumar in a place like this means you are always around a lot of noise and people rushing from one room to another. It is a very busy environment, and things happen fast here. I spend a lot of time sitting and waiting, or moving between the different sections of the court. It is not like a regular office where you have your own quiet space. Instead, it is more about being where the action is. I have been around these buildings for quite some time now, and I know the layout pretty well, which helps when you are in a hurry. My work involves a lot of reading and talking to people who are often quite stressed about their own situations. I try to just stay calm and handle my part of the job. It’s a lot of paperwork and following the rules that are set here. The Patiala House Courts have a lot of history, and you can feel it in the old walls and the way the hallways are built. It is a tough place to work sometimes because of the crowds, but it is where the work is. I don't really have a fancy setup, just what I need to get through the day's tasks. Usually, I am there early and leave once the court sessions wrap up for the evening. It’s a long day, but it’s what I do.
