Dev Plastic & Engineering Works

Our workshop is over in Mayapuri Phase I, specifically at plot A 48/3. It’s right in the middle of all the heavy industry stuff. We work with plastics and do a bit of engineering work on the side. The machines make a lot of humming noises all day long. There’s usually a smell of melting plastic in the air, which you get used to after a few days of working here. We make small parts and different items that other local businesses need. It’s not a clean office job; there are scrap pieces of material everywhere and the machines need constant oiling. I’ve got a couple of workers who have been with me for a long time. We know how the old machines behave and how to coax them when they get stubborn or stop for no reason. Sometimes a customer comes in with a drawing on a piece of paper, and we try to make it for them. It doesn’t always come out perfect the first time, but we keep at it until it works for their needs. The roads around here are pretty rough with all the heavy trucks moving in and out all day. We stay busy with orders, and there’s always something to fix or adjust. It’s honest work and keeps us going through the months. We’re just a small unit trying to get the parts out on time without any fuss.
