Design Service

Design Service is run out of Hno 197 in Pocket 1, Sector 1. Being in Dwarka, it is a bit more relaxed than the center of New Delhi, but it still gets busy. The office is basically part of the building where I spend most of my time. It’s a residential-style area, so it feels quite local and quiet in the mornings. I started this because I wanted to work closer to home without being in a giant tower. We have a couple of desks, some old chairs that we should probably replace, and a lot of paper. Every day is a bit different. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just staring at the screen trying to get a layout right. Sometimes the internet is slow, and I have to go for a walk to clear my head. Sector 1 is a nice part of town. There are trees around and you can actually see the sky. We don't have a big sign outside or anything fancy. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else. It's just a straightforward place where we do our tasks and try to stay on top of the pile. I like the routine of it. We open up, do the work, and close the doors when the sun goes down. It isn't always exciting, but it is honest work and that matters to us.
