Design Palace

Design Palace is right on Phanka Road in Uttam Nagar. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how it gets with the traffic and people everywhere. Our shop has been here for a good stretch of time now. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for the computers and some samples we keep on the shelves. Most days, we are just busy trying to get through the list of things people need done. Someone walks in wanting a sign, someone else wants a logo tweaked, and we just handle it. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time between all the work. It’s a bit messy sometimes with papers scattered around the desks. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. Usually, one of us just looks up from the screen when the door opens. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. It feels like a real local spot because that is exactly what it is. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the street outside. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes for a bit, but that's just how it goes here. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the work is finished by the time the customer comes back to pick it up. It’s a simple way to spend the day.
