Department Of Information Technology

We are located over at House No 159 in Lane 10, right inside the Monque View Appt in Zakir Nagar. It's a busy corner of New Delhi, and being the Department Of Information Technology means we spend most of our time staring at computer screens or trying to fix some software that isn't doing what it's supposed to do. There are about six of us who work here regularly, and the office is usually pretty cluttered with cables and old keyboards that we haven't gotten around to throwing away yet. The building is okay, though the stairs can be a bit much when it's hot outside. We handle a lot of the tech stuff for the local area, mostly just making sure the systems keep running and that people can get their work done online. It’s not fancy work, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes someone will come in with a broken laptop or a question about a website, and we do what we can to help them out. The neighborhood is nice because there are always places to grab a quick bite during lunch, and Lane 10 stays pretty lively. We’ve been at this address for a few years now, and we’ve gotten used to the way the lights flicker when the power gets low. We don’t have any fancy statements or big promises. We just come in, turn on the lights, and start working on whatever needs doing. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening.
