Our office is located in the Observatory Compound on Lodi Road. The address is M 29A, which is in a very green and historic part of New Delhi. It’s a nice area to walk around during a lunch break. We go by the name Deloitte Touche here. The building has a bit of age to it, which we actually like. It isn't one of those sterile glass boxes. Inside, it’s just a normal workplace with computers, printers, and a lot of paper. We handle various professional tasks and keep things running smoothly for the company. Delhi can be very hot and loud, but inside the compound, it stays relatively quiet. We have a small group of people who have worked together for years. We know each other's families and what we like to eat. We don't put on any corporate shows or try to look bigger than we are. It’s just about getting the daily tasks finished. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical city issues like traffic or dust. We just clean up and keep moving. The 110 003 zip code is right in the heart of things, but our corner feels tucked away. It’s a practical spot for a team that just wants to focus on the work at hand. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. It is just us doing our best every day in this city. It isn't perfect, but it is where we work.
