Out here in Shahdara, things are always moving fast. Our place is on Street No 9 in Durga Puri. If you know the area, you know how crowded the lanes get. We are at M 1449 14. It’s not the easiest place to find the first time, but once you’ve been here, you remember the blue door. The office is tucked away and it’s actually quite quiet once you get inside. We have a few computers and a lot of paper everywhere. It’s just how we work. Most mornings start with cleaning off the dust that comes in from the road. Shahdara has that energy where everyone is doing something. We fit right in. We’ve got a small window that looks out onto the street, so we see the vegetable sellers and the rickshaws going by all day. It’s a humble setup. We don't have fancy leather chairs or glass walls. Just a solid wooden table where we sit down to discuss the day's tasks. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. It’s a real local vibe. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they know what we do. No big speeches or complicated stuff here. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. There is always a lot to do and the days go by quickly.
