Delhi

We are located right in the middle of old Delhi, on the first floor of building 3909. It’s in the Gali Jagat Cinema area, which is very close to the Jama Masjid. If you’ve ever been down those lanes, you know it’s a world of its own. It is always crowded, there’s always noise, and there are smells of food everywhere you turn. Our office is up the stairs, away from the main crush of people on the street. It’s a bit of an old building, so the walls have some character and the floors aren't perfectly level, but it serves us well. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. You can hear the calls to prayer and the rickshaws honking all day long. We mostly deal with our daily tasks in a small room that’s packed with stuff. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find corporate suits or shiny glass windows. It’s more about the hustle and bustle of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out like everyone else on the street. It’s a very honest place to work. You see the real city every time you look out the window. We like being here because it feels alive. It’s not always easy getting through the crowds to get to work, but it’s never boring at our place. We just keep going every day.
