Delhi Technological Universirty

It's a big campus up here in Shahbad Daulatpur. People usually just call it DTU. We've got a lot of students coming in every day from the main Bawana Road. It gets pretty crowded around the gates in the morning. The labs are usually busy and there is always some project going on in the hallways. It’s been around for a long time, though the name changed years back. You see a lot of people hanging out near the canteens between classes. The commute can be a bit of a pain if you're coming from central Delhi because of the traffic. It’s a wide-open area though, lots of trees around the buildings which is nice when it isn't too hot. We spend a lot of time just figuring out schedules and getting through the semester. Sometimes the fans in the older blocks make a lot of noise but we get used to it. The library stays quiet most of the time except during exams when everyone tries to find a seat at once. It’s just a regular place where people study and work. Most of the staff have been here for years and they know the shortcuts around the campus. It’s a bit far out from the main city spots but we have everything we need right here. The tea stalls outside the main gate are always packed with kids grabbing a quick bite. We see the same faces every day, from the security guys to the local rickshaw drivers waiting for a fare. It’s a busy spot for Delhi Technological Universirty.
