We are part of the Delhi Milk Scheme, or DMS, which is under the Govt of India. You can find us at B 40 Ramdutt Enclave in Uttam Nagar, New Delhi 11059. This place is usually most active very early in the morning when most people are still asleep. That’s when the milk delivery logistics really get moving. The office in Ramdutt Enclave isn't a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s a functional space where we track crates, check delivery routes, and handle the paperwork for the government scheme. It can be a bit chilly in the winters when we start our shifts before the sun comes up. The building itself is pretty plain, with some old metal desks and cabinets for all our records. Uttam Nagar is a crowded area, so getting the trucks in and out takes some skill and a lot of patience. We are used to the noise of the neighborhood. Inside, there’s often the sound of a radio playing in the background while someone fills out a logbook. We don't try to impress anyone with how the place looks. It’s just about getting the milk to where it needs to go. We’ve been at B 40 for a long time, and the locals know us. It’s a steady job that involves a lot of routine, but it’s important for the city. We just focus on our daily tasks and keeping things moving. Every day is pretty much the same here.
