Being in Connaught Place means we are right in the heart of the city. Our office isn't like those fancy new glass buildings you see in other parts of Delhi. It’s got that older feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day, mostly coordinating stuff that happens elsewhere. Since we are in CP, it’s always a rush to get through the crowds just to grab some lunch. We have been operating from this location for quite some time now. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the systems work, even if they are a bit old-fashioned. We don't really have a showroom or anything for people to walk into; it's more about the back-end business and making sure the logistics stay on track. It gets quite busy on Monday mornings when everyone is trying to catch up on what happened over the weekend. Sometimes the elevators in the building are finicky, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s a professional environment but we don’t stand on ceremony too much. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure the records are kept straight. It’s a solid place to work, even if the traffic around the circle is a nightmare every afternoon. We just take the metro home like everyone else when the day is done.
