Darshan Education Foundation

We’ve been set up here at Lawrence Road for a while now. Most people know the C 5 163 B block, it’s where we do our thing. We focus on education but it's not like those big fancy centers. It is more about helping the kids and anyone who wants to learn something new. Delhi 35 is a busy spot and we fit right in. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic but inside we keep it steady. We don't have a huge staff or anything, just a few of us trying to make sure the work gets done properly. If you walk down the road you will see us. We started because there was a need for this kind of foundation in the neighborhood. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to parents but we manage. Some days are longer than others. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just the little bit we can see from our front door. The desks are a bit old and we use every bit of space we have in the building. People stop by to ask questions and we try to give them straight answers without making it complicated. It's just a regular place where we care about what happens with the students. We’ve seen a lot of faces come through since we opened up here on Lawrence Road. We keep the doors open through the day and try to be helpful.
