We've been here in Jagatpuri on Parwana Road for a while now. It's a small spot in Gali No 11. D Damas Jewellery I Pvt Ltd is where we handle the gold and silver pieces. People come in from the neighborhood. It's a busy street. We're on the ground floor. It's mostly family running things. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It gets loud outside sometimes with the traffic in New Delhi. We just focus on the jewelry and making sure things are done right. Dealing with small repairs and selling rings or necklaces. It’s not fancy like the big malls. Just a regular shop in Jagatpuri. We've seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Some days are slow, others we have a line out the door. We keep the counters clean. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do. The address is F 13, so it's easy to find if you know the gali. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people walking by or hearing about us from their neighbors. It's a local thing. New Delhi 51 is home for us. We just keep our heads down and work on the jewelry orders that come in. The shop is small but it has everything we need to do our daily work. We don't have a big corporate team, just us.
