D D Bansal Associates

Laxmi Nagar is a busy place, and being in Gali No 16 means we see a lot of the local life every day. D D Bansal Associates is up on the first floor, specifically Ff 29. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. New Delhi 92 is always humming with noise, and our street is no different. We have a couple of rooms here with some basic furniture and a computer that’s a few years old now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We mostly deal with whatever paperwork comes our way. It's a simple setup. There are a few other offices in the same building, so we see the same faces every morning when we arrive. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs brings up a tray for us. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine. It’s practical and it works for what we do. The windows don't offer much of a view, just the building across the lane and some tangled wires. We stay busy enough that the day goes by pretty fast. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing, just putting in their hours and heading home. It feels like a real part of the city, not some polished corporate park. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the street just blend into the background.
