D C Thakur

I'm based out of Chittaranjan Park, or CR Park as most people call it here in Delhi. The address is G 1362. This neighborhood is famous for its fish markets and the Bengali culture that you find on every corner. My place is in the G block, which is a bit quieter than the main markets, but you can still hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. D C Thakur is basically just me and a small team working out of this space. It’s more of a home-office feel than a strict business environment. We have bookshelves lining the walls and a lot of old folders that probably haven't been opened in a decade. It’s a comfortable place to work, especially in the winter when the Delhi sun is nice and mild. I don't believe in having a big, expensive office when this works just fine. We do our daily tasks, answer the emails that come in, and sometimes meet people for a quick chat about work. There is no big sign outside, just a small plate with the name on it. We don't really do any marketing or sales pitches. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they live nearby in the park. It is a simple life and a simple way of doing business. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and don't worry too much about the rest.
