Creative Planet is our shop over at C 8 260 in Kartar Nagar, Yamuna Vihar. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, but we've been here long enough that most locals know where we are. It’s not a huge place. Just a regular storefront where we handle our daily business. We’ve got some shelves and a couple of old desks. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep it tidy. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s had its ups and downs, like any small business in Delhi. Some days the power goes out and we just sit and wait, but mostly things run okay. We don't put on airs. We’re just regular people working in Yamuna Vihar. We don't have a fancy website or a huge team of experts. It’s just us. We’ve had customers who have been coming to us for years. They know we’ll give them a straight answer and won’t charge them for things they don’t need. It’s a simple way of doing things. We live nearby too, so the commute is just a quick walk. That’s one of the best parts about being a local business. You get to know the street and everyone on it. We usually keep the shop open until late in the evening because that's when most people are heading home and might need to drop something off or pick something up.
