We’ve been operating out of 15 Abul Fazal Road for a good while now. It’s a pretty central spot, which makes it easy for everyone to get here. The building isn't brand new, but it has a lot of character. We have several rooms that we’ve turned into work areas. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of paper that we need to get through. The windows look out onto the street, and we spend a fair bit of time watching the world go by when we’re taking a breather. It’s a very normal office. We don’t have any of those fancy perks like a gym or a cafe inside. We just have a small stove for making tea and a fridge that makes a loud humming sound. It’s a place where we focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in the city. We all know each other’s names and a bit about each other’s lives. It’s a small team, really. We don’t have a lot of rules about how things should look, as long as the work is finished. It’s a bit messy at times, with cables running across the floor and notes stuck to every surface. But it feels like home to us. It’s just where we work every day until it's time to go.
