Malviya Nagar is where I’ve ended up putting down roots for the work I do. If you know this part of South Delhi, you know how the lanes can be a bit of a maze sometimes. It’s a mix of old houses and new shops, and there’s always something happening outside the door. I chose this area because it feels lived-in and real, not like those sterile office parks you see in other parts of the NCR. My space is small, just enough for what’s necessary to get through the day's work. I don’t go in for big decorations or expensive rugs because they just get dirty with all the foot traffic. Most days start with a quick walk to get some breakfast from one of the local vendors before I settle in. The internet can be a bit spotty when it rains, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it is here. I’ve lived in different parts of the city, but Malviya Nagar has a certain energy that keeps me motivated. It’s not always quiet—actually, it’s rarely quiet with the honking and the shouting—but I like the life of it. I don’t have a big team or a lot of fancy equipment. It’s just me in a room, making sure I finish what I started. Some days are slow and others are a total rush, but that’s the nature of being your own boss in a place like this.
