You can find us at 203 Highland Appartments in Vasundra Enclave. It’s out in New Delhi 96, which is a bit away from the main city center, but it’s a good, solid place to be based. We run the Confederation Of Indian Industry operations from this apartment. It’s basically a converted living space, so it has that cozy, slightly cluttered feel of a real office. We’ve got desks squeezed into the rooms and a lot of shelves for all the documents we have to keep. The view from the balcony shows the other apartment blocks and the daily life of Vasundra Enclave. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but the security guards know us well by now. We spend most of our time answering calls and trying to keep the paperwork from piling up too high. The lift in Highland Appartments can be a bit slow during the morning rush, but that’s just part of living and working in Delhi. We don’t have any corporate slogans on the walls, just a few calendars and some notes stuck to the monitors. It’s a very human way to work. We talk to the neighbors in the hallway and sometimes share a quick lunch from the nearby stalls. It’s about being part of the local area while we handle the serious industry stuff. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in our small corner of the city.
