Clifford Chance

Being over here at 5 52 Nehru Nagar in New Delhi keeps us pretty busy. Clifford Chance isn't one of those places with a glass front and guards at every door. We are just a regular office tucked into the neighborhood. Most of the morning is spent sorting through papers and taking calls while the traffic hums outside on the main road. It’s a bit of a walk from the metro, but the tea stall around the corner makes it worth the trip. We have been in this spot for a bit, and the walls are starting to show some wear, but it feels like home now. The desks are usually piled high with files because there is always something to look over. We don't really have a fancy reception area. If you walk in, you'll probably just see one of us hunched over a computer or talking on the phone. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, especially during the summer months when the cooler is running full blast. We just try to get through the daily tasks without making a big deal out of it. Nehru Nagar is a loud place, full of life and people moving about, and we are just another part of that. It is not about being the biggest office, just about doing the work that comes across our desks every day. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for number 52, but we usually spot them from the window.
