Shree Balaji International

Shree Balaji International is tucked away at No. 267 Phatak Karor, which is inside Ajmeri Gate. We are located right near Chawri Bazar Metro Station, and being near Chawri Bazar Metro Station makes it easy for the staff to get to work. If you know that area, you know how crowded and loud this part of Delhi can get. It is a real maze of streets and old buildings. We have been here for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age with the narrow stairs and the thick wooden door at the entrance. It can be a bit of a climb to get up here, but you get used to it after the first week. The noise from the market outside is constant, with rickshaws honking and people shouting, but inside the office, it stays surprisingly okay once the windows are shut. We have stacks of papers everywhere because we still like to keep physical copies of things. The light in the hallway is a bit dim and flickers sometimes. Most of the people working here live nearby and walk to work, which is much better than trying to drive through the narrow lanes of Ajmeri Gate. Our desks are old-fashioned, made of heavy wood that has scratches from years of use. It’s a busy, cramped space but it feels right for being in the heart of the old city.
