Chawla Electronic House

Tilak Nagar is always busy, especially around Krishna Park where we are. Our shop is at WZ 222. It’s not a huge place, but we have enough room for what we do here. Most mornings start with cleaning the glass counters because dust gets in from the street pretty quickly. It’s just how it is in this part of town. People walk by all day long on their way to the market or the station. Some stop in to ask about a specific part or just to see if we have something in stock. We spend a lot of time sorting through boxes of cables and different electronic bits that come in. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. My desk is in the back corner where it’s a little quieter, but you can still hear the traffic outside. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The sign outside is getting a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows where we are. Usually, the afternoon gets quite crowded when people are coming home from work. They drop by with things that stopped working or need a new battery. We don't really have a fancy system, just some notebooks where we write down what needs doing. It gets the job done. By the time evening rolls around, the street lights come on and the area feels different. We pack up slowly and make sure the locks are tight on the front door.
