Chandersakhar Singh

Based out in Ghonda Khajuri Mankapura, Chandersakhar Singh is just a local business trying to do things the right way. The area here is quite different from the central parts of the city. It’s a bit more rugged, and the roads can be a bit of a mess after it rains. My shop is located right in the thick of things. It’s a place where there’s always something going on outside, whether it’s a rickshaw passing by or someone shouting to their neighbor. I’ve kept the shop simple. I don't see the point in spending a lot of money on decorations when the work is what counts. I have my workbench and my storage area, and that’s about it. Most of my customers are locals who have known me for years. They know I don't put on any acts. I just show up every day and do what needs to be done. The air is often a bit dusty here because of all the movement, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes it feels like time moves a bit differently in Mankapura. It’s less about the clock and more about finishing the task at hand. I don't have a website or a social media page. If people need me, they know where the shop is and they just walk in. It’s been that way for a long time and I don't see any reason to change it now.
