Chander Sareen Associates

Down in Gali No 2, you’ll find us at A 417. We go by Chander Sareen Associates, which sounds a bit more formal than we actually are. The office is tucked away in this part of New Delhi, and if you aren't looking for the number, you might walk right past it. The street is narrow, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting, but we’ve gotten used to it. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. We handle a variety of things here, mostly stuff that requires a lot of sitting and looking at documents. It gets stuffy in the summer when the power fluctuates, but the fans keep things bearable. I’ve worked with the same couple of people for a long time, so we don't really have to say much to get the day started. We just know the routine. People come to see us because they have things to figure out, and we do our best to help them without making a big fuss about it. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and someone will look up from their work to talk to you. It’s a practical setup. We spend our time on the tasks at hand rather than worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. Delhi is a fast city, but in this gali, things feel a bit slower, which I actually prefer for getting work done.
