Chandan Quilting Works

Chandan Quilting Works is located at Kamla Nagar, specifically Shop No 6956 8. It’s a small shop, tucked away in a busy part of the market. We have piles of fabric and thread everywhere you look. It isn't the neatest place, but we know where everything is. Kamla Nagar is always full of people shopping and walking around. Our shop is just one of many along the row. We have been doing this for a long time now. The work is mostly manual and takes a lot of patience. It gets pretty dusty with all the cotton and materials we use. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. The space in Shop No 6956 8 is tight, so we have to be organized in our own way. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Most people find us by walking past and seeing the work we are doing. It’s a simple life. We open up in the morning, do the quilting, and close up when it gets dark. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. It is just part of the job. We have our regulars who come in and we know their names. It is a local shop for local people. There is always a lot to do, so we don't have much time for sitting around talking. We just keep sewing and making sure the quilts are done right.
