Century Plastic Industries

We are located at 2445 in Teliwara, which is part of the big Sadar Bazar area. Century Plastic Industries has been operating from this spot for a long time. It’s a noisy neighborhood. You hear the sounds of carts being pulled and people bargaining all day long. Inside our space, we have the machines running. It can get quite hot, especially in the summer when the air doesn't move much. We make all sorts of plastic items. There are piles of raw materials in one corner and finished goods in another. It’s a bit cramped, to be honest. We have to move boxes around just to make a path to the back. My clothes usually smell like warm plastic by the end of the day. It isn't a glamorous job but it pays the bills. We have a few workers who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together on the small bench outside when it’s not too dusty. The street, Teliwara, is narrow and trucks have a hard time getting through to drop off supplies. We often have to carry things by hand for the last block. It’s a lot of physical work. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have our workspace and our tools. We stay busy and that’s what matters to us. It is a grind sometimes but we are used to the noise and the pace of the bazaar. Every day is just another day at 2445.
