Cbc Commonwealth Business Council is based over at 354 B Greenfields in Faridabad. This part of Haryana is pretty well known to most people who live around here. Our office is in a building that looks like most others in the area. We have been here for some time now. Inside, there is not much to see except for the desks and chairs and the people working. We have some shelves filled with books and old records that we need to keep for our files. The lighting is okay, but we often keep the curtains open to let in as much sun as possible. Faridabad can be a dusty place, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the desks and the windows. We are not a big operation with hundreds of people. It is just a small group of us who handle all the day-to-day things that come up. We do not have a uniform or any strict rules about how people should dress, as long as the work gets done on time. Most of us take the local transport to get here every morning. There is a small tea shop right around the corner where we usually go when we need a break from the computer screens. We do not have a big fancy sign out front, just the address and the name of the place. It is a quiet life for the most part, except when we have a lot of deadlines. We just deal with it.
