Capital Transformers Pvt Ltd is located right on the GT Road in the Dilshad Garden area of Shahdara, specifically at 56 B. It’s an industrial spot, so there’s always a lot of heavy traffic and the sound of big trucks reversing. We spend our days working on transformers, which is heavy and often quite greasy work. The workshop floor is usually scattered with copper clippings and some oil stains here and there. We’ve been in this building for many years, and the walls have seen better days, but the roof doesn't leak and the power stays on. Most of the staff has been with us since the start. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy suits. Most of us wear work clothes that get dirty pretty fast. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the invoices and talk to the drivers. It gets very hot in the summer months, but we have a couple of large industrial fans that keep the air moving. We just focus on getting the assembly right. Sometimes the shipments get delayed because of the congestion on GT Road, which can be frustrating. We don't do any flashy advertising or have a big sales team. Most of our work comes from long-time contacts in the industry. We just open up early, get the machines running, and make sure everything is built according to the drawings we’re given. It's a plain, hardworking environment for all of us here.
