We are Brij Polymers Pvt Ltd and our place is located at A 62 in Saraswati Vihar. It’s a bit of a mix here between an office and a storage area. We deal with plastics and polymer materials, so there is usually a distinct smell of materials in the air. The space is filled with samples and folders tucked into every available shelf. Saraswati Vihar is a decent place to be, though traffic can be a nightmare during the rush hours. We spend a lot of time on the phone with manufacturers and transport guys trying to make sure everything arrives on time. Sometimes the shipments are wrong and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. It’s a lot of physical work and paperwork combined. We have a small crew here, mostly people who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the small back room when we find a spare minute. The desks are always covered in bits of paper and half-finished notes. It isn't the cleanest or most modern looking office, but it’s where the work happens. We try to keep a rhythm going, but every day brings a new problem to solve with a customer or a supplier. It’s just the reality of the polymer business in this part of town. We stay focused on the tasks right in front of us and try to stay organized as we go.
