We’ve been here at B 14 in the Sugar Mill Colony for a while now. Most people around Jind know the spot, right near where Amardeep Bishnoi stays. It’s an iron and steel place, so things get a bit loud and messy sometimes. Dealing with metal isn't the cleanest job, but it’s what we do. We mostly spend our days moving stock and making sure the inventory matches the books. The yard is usually full of rods and sheets. It gets hot in the summer, especially with all that metal sitting around, but we just keep at it. People come by asking for specific sizes, and we try to find what’s buried in the back. Sometimes the trucks are late because of the traffic near the colony entrance, which is annoying. We aren't a big fancy operation with a glass front office. It’s just us, the steel, and the daily grind of loading and unloading. We know the neighbors well, and most of the staff have been living around here for years. If you walk past, you'll probably hear the clanging of iron. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something that needs sorting or moving. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. It’s more about physical work and getting the orders right. The air smells like metal and old grease, which is just how a steel yard should be. We just keep our heads down and work.
