Up on the first floor at 28 83 in West Patel Nagar, you will find our small team working away. The building is one of those older ones where you can hear everything happening on the street below. We are right in the middle of a very busy part of New Delhi, so there is never a quiet moment. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to us, which is good exercise if you do it a few times a day. The light in the afternoon hits the front windows quite strongly, so we usually have to pull the curtains. It is a simple setup with a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a kettle that gets used a lot for coffee. We have been at this address for a bit, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the local market nearby. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the water tank needs checking, but we manage just fine. It is not the kind of office you see in magazines, but it is where we get our stuff done. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small shops, so it feels like a real community. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we are too busy staying on top of our daily tasks. Just a normal group of people working in a normal part of the city.
