I’m based out of Tis Hazari, specifically at spot number 118. If you’ve ever been to the courts here, you know it’s a total maze and always crowded with people rushing around. I’ve been working from this space for quite some time now. It’s not a big office, just a small area where I can keep my files and meet people when necessary. The noise from the corridors is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Most of my day is spent handling paperwork or waiting for things to move along in the system. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of talking. I don’t have a fancy team or a big marketing budget. It’s just me and a few associates sometimes helping out with the documentation. We use a lot of paper here, so there are stacks of folders everywhere you look. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but in Tis Hazari, that’s how it usually goes. Finding my spot can be tricky for newcomers, but once you know the hallway, it’s easy enough. I try to keep things simple and direct. There isn’t much room for anything else in such a busy environment. Some days are longer than others, especially when the weather is bad and the commute is a struggle. But this is where the work is, so this is where I stay. Sometimes the overhead fan makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving at least.
