Bhaskar Batteries

Being in Noida Sector 3 at E-22, we see a lot of people coming through for their cars and home power stuff. This area is always full of activity. We’ve got stacks of batteries everywhere, so the shop smells a bit like lead and plastic, but that’s just part of the job. I started this place because I knew a bit about how these things work. It’s not a clean job; your hands are usually black by noon. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just a workspace with some heavy shelves and a desk that’s seen better days. When the power goes out in the summer, we get really busy with people wanting their inverters fixed. It gets hot in here since we can't really run a big AC with the doors open all the time. My nephew helps out on the weekends when he isn't in school. We try to keep the old batteries in the back so they don't trip anyone up. The neighbors are mostly other small shops, so we all know each other. Sometimes we trade tools or just stand outside for a smoke when things are quiet. It’s a straightforward business. You bring a dead battery, we see if it can be charged or if you need a new one. No complicated talk, just getting the job done. We have an old fan that rattles whenever it is turned on high.
