Down in Naraina Industrial Area Phase I, you will find Bharat Plastic Industries at A-92/3. This is a proper industrial spot, so it’s always busy with trucks and people moving crates around. We specialize in making various plastic components. The shop floor is always warm because of the molding machines running constantly. It has that specific smell of heated plastic that you get used to after a while. We aren't some polished corporate office; we are a working plant. My desk is usually covered in samples and technical drawings. We have been operating here for a few years, and we have a handful of guys who run the shifts. It’s a lot of monitoring the pressure and the temperatures to make sure the plastic sets right. Sometimes a machine acts up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just how it goes in Naraina. We deal mostly with other manufacturers who need parts for their products. We don't have a retail counter or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us busy with the production line. It’s noisy and a bit greasy, but it’s how we make our living. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make plastic items according to what is needed and try to keep the machines humming. It’s a straightforward industrial job and we focus on that mostly. We just show up and get to it every morning.
