Located at A-50/6 on DB Gupta Road in Paharganj, our shop is usually overflowing with all sorts of things. You’ll see stacks of plastic buckets in every color, big drums for water, and those small containers people use for spices in their kitchens. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to use every inch of space, even the ceiling has things hanging from it. The road outside is always chaotic, with rickshaws and delivery vans constantly moving, so it’s never really quiet here. We’ve got a small fan near the counter that mostly just moves the warm air around, but it’s better than nothing during the summer months. People come to us when they need something sturdy and cheap for their homes. I spend a lot of my time counting out lids or making sure the inventory matches what we sold the day before. The floor is concrete and a bit uneven, and the shelves are made of simple wood that’s seen better days. We don't spend money on fancy lighting; the sunlight from the street is usually enough during the day. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the shop's look. We just want to make sure when someone needs a plastic stool or a new trash bin, we have it sitting right there ready for them. It’s just us here, doing the daily work and keeping the piles of plastic organized as best we can.
