Barclays

Our place is at 26 159 in West Patel Nagar. This part of New Delhi is always crowded. There are shops everywhere and people moving about. Barclays is located right in the middle of all that noise. The building is older. The numbers on the street don't always go in order, which confuses the delivery drivers. We have to tell them to look for the blue gate. The rooms inside are a bit small. We have some old wooden chairs and a lot of paper stacked up. It gets really hot in the summer here. The air conditioner hums loudly while we work. We can hear the street vendors shouting outside throughout the day. Patel Nagar has a certain energy to it. You step out and you are immediately in the thick of things. There is a small shop nearby where we get our lunch sometimes. The stairs are a little steep. We have to be careful when carrying heavy boxes up. It is not a polished corporate floor. It is just a set of rooms where we handle our business. The lighting is a bit dim in the hallway. We have a small calendar on the wall that is a few months behind. It doesn't matter much. We know what needs to be done. The walk to the metro isn't too long if you take the shortcut through the alley.
