Barclays Shared Services

We are set up over at A 55 in Dayanand Colony, which is right in the Lajpat Nagar area of New Delhi. It’s a lively neighborhood, and having an office here means there is always something going on outside our windows. We handle shared services from this location, mostly focusing on the administrative side of things. There are plenty of folders, computer screens, and people talking on headsets throughout the day. It’s not a big corporate tower, just a practical space in a well-known colony. We like being here because the market is close by, and it’s easy for everyone to get to. The work is mostly routine, involving processing data, checking lists, and keeping things organized for the bank. We don't really have a front desk for customers, as our work is all behind the scenes. It’s a bit cramped when we have a full crew in, but we make it work. We have a small corner for making coffee, which gets a lot of use in the mornings. Dealing with the paperwork can be tedious, but it’s what we do. We’ve been part of the Dayanand Colony community for a bit, and we’ve seen shops come and go while we just keep plugging away at our desks. It’s a simple setup, nothing too flashy, just a group of people working hard in a busy part of town. We are just regular people doing our jobs in a normal office.
