Bag Films Media

We’ve been here in Vasant Kunj for a while now. Most people know the D 2 spot if they’ve lived in this part of New Delhi for long. Bag Films Media is basically what we do every day. It’s busy. There are always cameras being moved or someone editing something in the back room. We don't really have a fancy front desk, but the coffee is okay if you're waiting. It started small. Just a few of us wanting to make videos and tell stories without a big corporate boss breathing down our necks. Sometimes it’s chaotic, especially when deadlines are tight. We handle a lot of different media stuff. Some days it's just sorting through files, other days we're out on a shoot until late. The traffic in Delhi doesn't help much. We just show up, do the work, and go home. People around the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to see what’s going on. We keep things pretty simple. No big speeches or lofty goals, just making sure the screen looks right and the audio isn't buzzing. It gets noisy with all the gear. We’ve learned to work around it. If you walk past D 2, you’ll probably see us unloading a van. That's pretty much life here. We like the area. It’s got a good vibe and everything we need is close by. It’s not a huge operation, but we stay busy enough and keep the lights on.
