We operate B M Consultancy Services from a private location that we keep confidential. It might seem a bit unusual not to have a public storefront, but it works better for the kind of work we do. Most of our tasks involve deep focus and a lot of quiet time to think through things. We don't have walk-in traffic, so we can really get into the details of our projects without many interruptions. Our setup is pretty basic. It’s just a few desks, some good computers, and plenty of coffee to keep us going through the long afternoons. Since our address isn't out there for everyone to see, we rely heavily on the connections we have built over time. We don't have a big team or a corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know what we are doing and stay dedicated to the work. We handle various consultancy tasks, which means every day looks a little different. One day might be all about research, while the next is spent writing reports. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at the problems and try to find sensible ways forward. It’s a very grounded way of working. We enjoy the privacy because it lets us stay productive and honest in our approach. Even without a public sign on a main road, we stay quite busy with the work that comes our way.
