Avtar Studio is situated right in Kapashera Village, at number 219. This area is always moving, especially with all the workers and traffic near the border. Our studio is a local spot where people come when they need a photo taken. It might be for an ID, a wedding, or just a family picture. We have a few different backdrops and some lights that have seen better days, but they still work fine. The space is a bit small, so things can get crowded if a whole family shows up at once. We have some old frames on the walls to show what we do. It’s not some high-fashion studio you’d find in a mall. It’s a village studio where we know the neighbors. We spend a lot of time editing on an old computer in the corner. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we are always cleaning the lenses. We don’t have a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and we see what you need. It’s a simple life here. We’ve been at this address for quite a while, and the locals know the name Avtar Studio. We try to be quick with the prints because people are usually in a hurry. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest little business that keeps us going every day in Kapashera. We stay open until the evening most days.
